OK...I really have no clue what this term is...but I have been calling it a "gusset" for the last 3 years and no one has corrected me, so I am going to continue calling it a gusset here. This little gusset thing is how you are going to give the bag a squarish, flat bottom so you can plop it down and it will look OK.

#5 Make an angle for your gusset
