windy tuesday

Hi there everyone!

Busy week as usual around here. It always seems to be. Is it that way with you? Does time seem to run at a different speed for everyone this time of year? For some dumb reason I thought we had another 2 weeks of November. Imagine my surprise when I noticed that it was December today. Who knew? I guess everyone, but still it was a bit of a shocker. I better kick into high gear, people! So I have decided to dedicate my week to bags. Duh, I should have been doing that all the time, but life kept happening and I let it get out of control again. Yet again. So my goal is to have a bag a day this week finished. I finished the Stu below yesterday, so it counts for yesterday and today I am working on an awesome Amber bag.

2 of our kittens went to new homes this weekend. That is great news for me. Little Yoda (the runt) and the massive ginger kitten. We still have 2 left for free to a good home. I am sure we won't have any trouble finding them a new place to live.

OK, this picture stinks, but it is the back of my latest quilt. I love this quilt. I made it for myself for my birthday present to me. The backing is a tea dyed muslin and I LOVE how it looks and feels. I am so happy with the way the quilting turned out on this one. I wanted to make my swirls more dense and I think they look great (if I do say so myself) I had no clue how I was going to do the triangles on the boarders until I started and I don't think I could be happier with this 9 patch.

Here is the Cameron Stu set that I finished yesterday. I love red any day, but this set is so cheerful. The quote she sent along was quite lengthy and I was afraid I would not be able to get it on the straps, but no worries, It came together like a dream.

Oh here is the front of the 9 patch quilt. It is made from scraps and some of my favorite stash fabric, some of the stuff I have been hording. It is like a grown up eye spy quilt. Oh and speaking of awesome little quilts have you seen this one? Oh I am having to restrain myself from cutting into my green fabric! But only Bags this week! No quilts or anything else!
Have a wonderful day it will be getting cold around here soon and while I am looking foreword to it, I am afraid I am not ready!
