I need to take a couple pictures of the finished orders and send them out to my lovely Camp Followers to see if everything is hunky dory before I mail out these orders...
I need to figure out how I am going to quilt this lovely quilt......
Here is is out on the line. Isn't it wonderful? I am in a Flickr group with some really amazing quilters. We are called 8to8. There are 8 of us and each month we send one of us 2 x 15.5" blocks of the ladies choice. My month was April and with all the wonderful Bushfire Star blocks that were rolling in I didn't hesitate with what I wanted for my month! I wanted a liberated star quilt too! But I wanted it to be in turquoise and reds. Umm I love it! I want to finish it up so I can take it on our road trip next week and camping the week after!I need to get the boys to school! I really like both of them. i have a quick question.... on your messenger bags.. how do you do the sides?? the pictures that you have up on the may 20th post is how i like mine to look. and i like how you got them to be a little stiff.

Okay... im gonna stick my 2 cents in and say I think you should quilt it in "flames"...
I just did one a couple weeks ago and with a little practice on paper you would be a natural at it. I think it would totally rock...
or Put your kids hand prints in the white stars ...
or
do over-under loopy..
or
do spiky meander...to match the stars (I like this idea too, make this #2)
