the end is in sight

These last couple weeks of super sewing has caught up with me. If I was a napping person I would sure go take one. But I am not a nap person so I am sorting. I think I have a mode of transportation for the quilts to get to their new homes which makes me happier than I can say. I need to hammer out the last couple details then I will let you all know how it is going to happen. I am pretty sure we have over 100 quilts now! How amazing is that? I am just thrilled with all the hard wok that has gone into this project and I have really met some amazing people because of it. Thank you for sharing yourselves with me.

The picture above is of the box that was waiting for me when I got home from school drop off this morning. It was mailed from Germany in March and it finally made it! Hot dog! And just in time too. See, nothing to worry about Alda. It made it safe and sound. I need to count them but there sure look to be at least 3, maybe 4 quilt tops there.

Oh and just a quick thank you to everyone who sent bindings. That really made things simple. Thank you so much.

OK, back to pick up Ethan from school...and then the butcher....or maybe we will just go out to dinner tonight. Another big lawn sale tomorrow at 0-dark-thirty since the one 2 weeks ago was rained out.

xo,
Tia

Oh I love lawn sales ! Imagine that's a bit like a bootsale but then on the lawn? lol! You can pick up some amazing bargains!

The amount of beautiful quilts is staggering Tia! Thank you so much for doing mine too. It really means a lot to me. And now you have even more. You are truly magical and I truly do not know how you do it.

I just wanted to say how much you have inspired me in so many ways. Your loving nature, helping so much and putting so much of yourself and your time in for the benefit of others, your kindness by answering everyone tirelessly and kindly, your productiveness and energy, your design talent and wonderful things you make, your fabric choices and sense of colour, which have really opened my eyes to possibilities which I previously would not have considered. All and all, you have brought a lot of happiness to many people.

Thank you.

I'm sorry I missed the call for bindings. I probably could have contributed something to that!

I miss the butchers. I loved going in when I was at a loss for dinner and coming home with something different or original to cook. Here I have to make do with Wegman's. Which is awesome, don't get me wrong. The only problem is that I end up spending a fortune!

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Love,
T.
