Today's work

How are you all this morning? I am pretty good. I have been putting tiny little quilts together all morning for Kansas Day tomorrow. I decided to try kinda sticking the covered wagons down with a glue stick and I think it will work pretty well, until the kids can stitch them down. I think I need to make 200. Yippee. Please remind me why I volunteered to do this? Oh yeah, I really do think it is fun and I love getting to volunteer at the kids school. Makes me feel involved. And I LOVE it when my little children spot me from across the hall or on their way to another class and how their little faces light up, and their dear frantic waving so I will see them....Oh I just love it.

So, while I have been sitting here trying to work on my posture at the same time I have been listening to Kerri's blog. I am wild for her soundtrack thing. I think we are music twins. She has a stupendous blog as well. I think I love about everything about it. OK, I just wanted to surface for a moment before diving back into the wagon train.....I need to make a sun bonnet for myself tomorrow as well.....

Dear Mother of three, You truly remind me of myself, with all of the fun stuff you do for and with the kids!! I remember well the days of volunteering at school. Enjoy it all as it goes by terribly fast, just remember to not bite off more than you can chew!! ;) and have fun. The dirt will always be there..........peeking out from under the table or? The kids will remember the fun, not the dirt. Lovingly, Gail Norback
