Getting ready for the Christmas Market

So, my friends, have you ever sewn so much that your fingers bleed, your back aches, you are totally exhausted, but you can't sleep due to your mind running wild with new and better ideas of what to make, what to pack, what to finish before the big craft show? Has your right calf ever had a constant charlie horse due to applying the foot presser of your sewing machine for 3 weeks straight? Gosh, don't get me started on what I am going to charge for all this treasure and how that thought too keeps me up at night. See, I have always been a one woman show, right? Well, my friend and neighbor chimed in and contributed some wonderful paintings to my craft show drama, so I have to pay her too right? Well, I have been trying to price my items with others I have found that are similar, and I need to pay my artist...right? Oh it is making me mad. Not mad, like angry, but mad like crazy. Oh well, We will see how I do come Saturday. If anyone is in the area the Christmas Market is at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX from 10 to 5. I am too excited about it. I swore I was not going to make anything extra, just sell the samples I have at the house, but then I went nuts. Ahlora. If I don't sell all this stuff, I can just sell It in my shop or give it away for Christmas presents. Right? No harm no foul.

Lets take a bit better peek at what will be available....

Grackles on a power line.....I love this one. Heck, I love them all, but I really like the turquoise in this one.

This one I worked on all summer while the kids swam in the pool. Thousands of tiny hand stitches.

The Birch forest is great too. I tried to quilt it like a misty, windy forest. It shows up better inside the pillow.

I dig this little tree pillow too. I have one more tree pillow and a boot pillow and the last one is a poppy one.

Each pocket clutch I finished was my favorite, but this one is both my favorite and Emma's favorite. I wish you would feel it. Each branch is quilted and it is covered with French knots. I hand dyed the linen blue, myself.

I dig this horny toad clutch. I used some of my wonderful butter soft red leather and I love how the weight feels in my hand.
Here are some of the little wallets and clutches I made. I still have several to complete. but I am a bit delirious so I am not sure if it will happen or not.
This curvy clutch may be my favorite of all....it is lime green and purple with some great Heather Ross prints. I worked on this one while I was waiting for a parent teacher conference.

Have a great evening, I need to go read a bed time story.

xo,

Tia

They are all fantastic Tia! I know what you mean about pricing. I would have not a clue! But don't forget these are all handmade and some handdyed and handpainted as well as handquilted. So if people think the price is too high, they would do well to bear that in mind! Love the little clutches! That turquoise pillow is great, heck, it is all great! Best of luck!!
