How are you doing this weekend? If you are in Japan I sure hope you are ok. Our prayers are with you. I got to spend the day sewing toady and I finished up my Carleson order. This set represents about 35 hours of work. A bit more than normal due to me having to make changes in my design to use the pants instead of the top. But is is now finished and I love it. Let me show you some more pictures.
So, now that this order is finished, I have GOT to take my sewing machine to the shop to have it cleaned and serviced. It has been groaning at me for some time now, but since it is Spring break we are going to run out and drop it off.
I did one other bit of sewing for a last minute Birthday Party for a neighbor boy. This is the most easy monster ever to make.
I think they are so funny looking. Have a wonderful week I will be back here in a bit with some more stuff.
OH, on a side note I "upgraded" my cell phone. I don't think Upgrade is really the term since I wanted a pretty dumb phone. I want to be able to call people, I want them to be able to call me and I would like to upload a bit of music onto it. My old phone was pretty red, but it would not work outside or in the sun. Needless to say I didn't do a great deal of talking on it in blazing sunny west Texas. I went with a very rugged Motorola and I have never been so happy with a phone. The IPhones and Droids were so tempting, but I think simple is better for me at this time in my life.
xo,
Tia

That looks like an awesome design for a bag. I really like the denim mixed in.
I know what you mean about a phone. That's exactly what I wanted in one a while back. Not even the music. Just basic calling. Then I discovered Google Maps on the iphone that my husband had been obsessing over for months. I can get lost a few blocks from my house (maybe a bit of an exaggeration but not much). So having a phone be able to tell me where I was and how to get someplace else was a dream come true. Unfortunately it's a huge distraction and I pick it up to cruise the internet and check emails far too often. Should have gone the simple route!!!
Hi Tia,
I really love your bags and the choices for fabric and colours you make. Your work is truly unique, thank you so much for sharing it.
