What do you think? Pretty big huh? I have wanted to branch out with my quilting for some time now. With this baby I will be able to. I fiddled around with her for about an hour today and I think she is just the thing. It is absolutely stunning how quickly you can quilt a quilt with a long arm. She is a Gammill Long arm and has been in storage for a while, so I assume she will have some kinks to work out, but I can't wait to start quilting my quilts with her! When I am ready I will be quilting for others. This frame is tremendous, so I will be able to quilt up to king size quilts on her. Please let me know if you would like me to quilt one of your quilts.
Have a great day!
Tia

well, I found her on the internet. I shall tell you more after I actually move her in and make sure she works like I want her to.

OH STOP IT....QUIT IT....YOU'RE MAKING ME C-R-A-Z-Y!!!!
I want one too!!!! I'M JEALOUS!!!
YOU LUCKY DUCK.....IT'S NOT FAIR!!
....ha!.....GOOD FOR YOU!!!
Yea for you Tia! This will be great for you....I can't wait to see what you do with it and yes! I will have you quilt a quilt for me! I've watched your work for some time...from afar and up close at the Modern Quilt Guild. So happy for your new addition!
not only do I want a long arm.........I NEED a long arm. I have at least 12 quilts sitting there waiting to be quilted, 6 more just needing backs, and at least 6 more on the working on it at the moment table. I can't afford to pay someone else to quilt my quilts. A lot of them are King sized too!! So I am JEALOUSSSS!
Congratulaltions! I know you'll get tons of commisions. You're TERRIFIC!
Oh thanks ladies! I really am so excited I doubt I will sleep tonight. If you are in the area (or live nearby when we move in a year,) I am more than willing to let you rent her and quilt your own quilts! Cool, huh? I remember asking to rent time on a long arm and being looked at like I was a lunatic.
Oooh, I'm jealous, I've been wanting a longarm for ages. We're only just starting to loot at a bigger house with a bigger studio, so fro now I'm planning to upgrade to a Bernina 820 in the meantime. I think that's what you've been quilting on - have you had any problems with it at all?
Love the tittle of the post!
Where will you be in a year?
Um - yes. I really would like you to quilt a quilt for me!
