I have been without my Bernina 820 for almost 2 months now. I will be sewing on it in the store to make sure it is working like it is supposed to.

*** I am back and while my machine is still making an alarm like sound I am just going to go with it for now. It needs yet another "L Board" so I will get a call when it comes in.

Oh, I am sorry you are having so much trouble with your machine. Has the store been in touch with the Bernina mother ship? They should be able to get it working smoothly for you. It isn't that old. My old Bernina is 22 years old and still going great. I was hoping the same would hold for these new ones...
