My lovely Bernina 820 is back. I picked her up today. So nice to have her back in her spot and sewing away like a champ. I also took Emma to her first horseback riding lesson. I used to ride a great deal when I was younger. I was trained in the English method, but at the stable here they instruct Western style. I took a lesson with Emma and I am pretty sure I won't be able to move tomorrow. Wow. My legs are so sore and I think I am missing some skin on my behind, but Emma and I had a fabulous time. I asked her what part she liked the best and she said "Everything! Especially the smell of the barn." Me too. I do like the smell of horse, hay, their feed and well just about everything. The weather couldn't be better...I LOVE Spring! It is here and it is so nice.
I have lots of projects to show you...maybe tomorrow.
Have a wonderful evening and sweet dreams!
xo,
Tia

I agree with her. I love the smell of the barn. Hope you can move tomorrow.
Mmmm...yes! One of my favorite smells is the smell of the barn! What a good girl you have! I miss my horse so very much.
Awesome for Emma! We're waiting on one of the grants so Ashlyn can begin her lessons again. She rides english, lol I rode english all my life.. so I guess I had a big part in the english or western thing. I think in the beginning english helps out with like balance and correct seating and all. :) Hope she's enjoying it!
