I found a new food blog and it rocks my kitchen. I currently have this bread rising on the kitchen counter. I can't wait to eat it. I borrowed the above picture from Joy the Baker the recipe I used is Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Bread. I think if you have yeast in your pantry or fridge you should make some too and we can put on a bit of weight together. I am sad that all my neighbors are on diets, otherwise I would share with them, but it is their loss. My kids and I will eat it. I will have to put some away for my sweet husband....he gets sad if we eat all the good stuff before he comes home. I will show you the teacher bags in a bit. I don't make teacher quilts anymore...too much work and no thanks for it. Silly me. Now just a zipper pouch and a Starbucks gift card.
happy day all!

I'll gain weight with you! That cinnamon bread looks delicious, and I do have yeast in my fridge.
As for a zipper pouch and Starbucks gift card, that sounds like such a nice, practical idea I'm going to steal it for myself the next time I need teacher gifts (we've already got this year done with cookie mix in a jar and a pretty covered binder).
Thanks for the inspiration.
recipe printing!!!
goodness that looks so yummy. i could even eat the dough before it's cooked. now i want some and i'm stuck at work!
Thanks for the reminder about teacher quilts. ON THE DAY I AM GIVING MINE TO THE TEACHERS. Prepared for disappointment, then anything more will be a pleasant surprise.
Ha! The loved them. Other moms shrank away with envy. My praises were song in a round. There were tears.
Ok, three of those things are true. But the crying could have been relief that their days of pre-k with my hellion, Ryan, are over.
