I'm back at it.

Good Morning! How are you doing? I hope you are good. I am. I think I am getting my sewing MoJo back. I had this terrible dream the other night that everything I was doing was wrong. I mean BIG time wrong. Like instead of going to buy KFC (fried Chicken) I bought a bucket of skinned dead rats. AND I was driving myself nuts by trying to come up with a palatable recipe for them. I finally woke up from that terrible dream after a couple other dreadful things happened. I was laying there with my eyes wide open, my heart racing and thinking about how relieved I was that it was just a dream. So many of my thoughts lately have been focused on others and the drama in their lives. I can see the mistakes that they are making, I warn them of the peril, but in the end it is their Journey to make. Not mine. My life is a pretty happy thing. I am going to try to cut back on the dwelling of others problems. I think it will set so much of my crafting free. I have so many plans for the future, I need to get going on my own journey!

I finished this bag. It only took a snap of time with the 820 working like it is supposed to (for the most part. It still refuses to recognize the dual feed feet, and that is a pain. But I am not going to fret over it all until I get back to Kansas and can drive my machine around to the Bernina shop for maintenance.). I have made quite a few other bags for this some young man and the ladies in his life. This one is for his grandmother. He wanted it just like his moms, but without the inside pocket panel. I made it Almost the same...no lady wants to be carrying the SAME bag as the next lady, right?

I also made myself a tester bag. This one is named the "Technology Tote". I used old tent canvas to make it. I like it pretty well, but there are certainly some changes I am going to make. I will have a long messenger strap that clips onto the side D-rings, but I got tired of working on bags and wanted to go back to quilts for a moment yesterday.

The Technology tote has a zipper pocket for my Kindle Fire. I have wanted to make clothing for my Kindle since my family gave it to me back in November. Finally I am doing it!

It is even a pretty pocket inside.

There are 2 interior pockets and these 2 back pockets. Not a bad bag if I do say so myself.

I am teaching a Welsh Quilting Class at WoolnCotton today, so I had to start marking this quilt. What the heck...since I was already marking it I might as well start quilting it, right?

I love the Welsh quilting style. I can show you some tips if you want to try this out too. I am teaching it to real people so cyber people should be able to learn something from it too.

OK, I need to go get ready to be a teacher!

have a great day!
Tia

that sounds like a nightmare! I do hope you don't get any more dreams like that. The bags are wonderful - your Technology Tote is perfect. I am so excited about getting my book on Welsh Quilting - your quilt looks gorgeous. I, for one, would love to hear any tips and ideas that you might want to share.
